Cross-Country Skiing in the Cross-Country Paradise of the Bernese Oberland


Welcome to our slopes! Enjoy more than 50 kilometers of prepared tracks for skating and classical cross-country styles from 1200 to 2000 metres above sea level.

Skate over the well-prepared cross-country tracks around Kandersteg and enjoy the high alpine tracks at Sunnbüel above Kandersteg. The night trail is illuminated from 6 to 9 p.m. in the evening. Kandersteg is a meeting place for cross-country-skiers: to enjoy their sport, to do their training, to take ski-hikes, for cross-country skating, for cross-country classical skiing, ...



Cross country skiers have to buy a trail pass as a contribution to the maintenance of the trails. Sold at the trail or at the tourist office.

	CHF 100.-- Season-pass (valid all over Switzerland) CHF 60.-- Season-pass (valid in Kandersteg and Loetschental) CHF 30.-- Weekly-pass for Kandersteg CHF 8.-- for a day-pass
