Description |
A round trip bike tour through
wonderful forests to the viewpoint Höh above Kandersteg. Follow
the main road from the centre of the village, turning off right towards
the Allmenalp cable car station. About 500m after passing under the
train tracks turn off to the right and follow the path through the
woods to the viewpoint Höh. The descent from the viewpoint to
the dam at the edge of the village is exhilarating. From the dam it's
an easy ride along the Kander river to the village centre. A short
diversion during the tour is to the Alp "I de Bode" where
a lovely view of the Kandersteg valley can be enjoyed. |
