Description |
A wonderful bike tour in
the nature paradise of the Gastern valley. Follow the main road from
the centre of the village to the military barracks Bären. An
alternative route to this point would be to take the track along the
river Kander to the International Scout Camp, joining the main road
just before the barracks. The unpaved road from the end of the valley
is steep but short and offers breathtaking views. The road continues
through the valley to Selden. An extension to the ride would be to
continue from Selden for about 10 mins. to the end of the road at
Heimritz. The return journey can be varied by taking the winter road
which branches off just before the large cliff fall. Be very careful
when passing through the unlit (dark) tunnels! |
