Description |
Interesting bike tour in
the neighbouring valley with glimpses of a different culture. First
put your bike on the train and make the 13 km. Trip from Kandersteg,
through the Lötschberg tunnel to Goppenstein. The route takes
you over the main valley road — which does not have heavy traffic
— and unpaved woodland roads through the whole length of the
Lötschen Valley. The routs takes you through several idyllic
villages with typical Valais architecture. The biking trail ends at
the pretty pond on the Fafleralp. Enjoy the wonderful glacial scenery.
Return to Kandersteg by the same route. |
