Description |
Fabulous bike route with
wonderful views of the Blümlisalp massive. Follow the main road
from the centre of the village to the military barracks Bären.
An alternative route to this point would be to take the track along
the river Kander to the International Scout Camp, joining the main
road just before the barracks. After the barracks the road bears right
and ascends continually with many hairpin bends until Usser Ueschinen
is reached. Here you turn right and continue the ascent towards the
Allmenalp. The increasing beauty of the landscape is sufficent reward
for the hard work. The short but very steep descent after Hellhore
is better attacked on foot — especially for less experienced
riders since the chance of falls is high. The final stretch is over
a narrow path to the Allmenalp — watch out for hikers! The return
journey follows the reverse route or you can take the cable car. |
