   Badminton
  2 Badminton courts at the ice rink are at your disposal; between April and August.
  This is where it happens: The Kandersteg ice rink is situated next to the railway station and is one minute by foot from the village centre. Cosy snack restaurant with bar and self-service restaurant.

   Basketball
  A new hard court with baskets can be used in summer for free.
  This is where it happens: The hard court and the gym are located near the Kandersteg school (Reservations possible).

   Climbing
  Around Kandersteg the climber will find several interesting mountains. The Ueschinental with its numerous routes in good rock is very popular.
The mountaineering school will be happy to arrange for trained guides.
  This is where it happens: Information about climbing possibilities can be had at the Kandersteg Mountaineering School. For training purposes and in winter weather there's a climbing wall at the ice rink.

   Curling
  Three rinks from August to Easter. Rental to curling clubs and associations.
  This is where it happens: Ice rink Kandersteg, Monday - Friday 10.00 - 18.00 h. Lessons on request. During winter season: curling and fun every Wednesday 17.00 - 18.00 h.

   Fishing
  Kandersteg has the most beautiful fish! They feel very comfortable in the fresh waters of our brooks and lakes. Good Fishing! (Close season: March 16 - 31)
  This is where it happens: The favourite spots are at Oeschinensee and along the Kander river. The licence you need can be obtained at Berghotel Oeschinensee and from Kandersteg Tourism.

  Kandersteg offers you an idyllically situated football field as well as a hard court (both are only in summer open).

  In summer and in winter, discovering the wonderful nature around Kandersteg on horseback is an exciting experience

  Treat yourself to a dreamlike horse sleigh ride through Kandersteg's snow-covered winter scenery!

  Jogging through nature's paradise around Kandersteg, in summer you can use more than 350 kms of hiking and mountain trails and breathe clean mountain air.....
  This is where it happens: A modern and well-arranged "Vita"-course in the Oeschiwald is also frequently used by joggers; starting point near shooting range.
