Ice Climbing Festival
The annual Ice Climbing Festival in Kandersteg takes place from 4. - 6. January 2013. For nearly three days, Ice Climbing will be the main focus in the climbing areas around Kandersteg. Not only can you meet with ice climbers from all over the world but you will have the chance to test the latest ice climbing gear.

Slide shows
Slide shows with international Cracks on Friday and Saturday evening.The slide shows take place in the "village hall" next to Hotel Bernerhof.
Shuttle bus from Gemmi Lodge to Kongress hall on Saturday only.
Climbing
Saturday, 6th January: from 10:00 a.m. onwards climbing contests. The final competition takes place after the slide show at 9:30 p.m.Big Ice-Climbing party at the Taverne Pub Gemmi Lodge with DJ music from 11:00 p.m.
Accomodation: Special prices for Ice Climbers
Kandersteg Tourism offers special accomodation prices for climbers and visitors of the Ice Climbing Festival from Friday to Sunday.
