25th December & Newyears day!
On Christmas day (25.12.) and Newyears day (1.1.) the "Pelzmartiga" roam through the streets from noon until late in the evening. They gain acces to hotels and restaurants and their antics often frighten both children and adults.

Snow, fun & volley ball in Kandersteg. The legendary snow volley tournament takes place on the school yard in Kandersteg. This annual event is being organized by the volley ball team of the gymnastics club Kandersteg.
