Legendary Trails
In bygone days, horrible things must have happened in the Kiental valley! There’s talk of lightning and rock slides, phantoms and murder. At least that’s what the legends say. Go and check it all out for yourself as you hike along the Kiental legendary trails from alp to alp, and from one mythical setting to the other.
As you walk along these beautiful trails, your guidebook will introduce you to daring hunters and evil spirits. You’ll learn how the Bundalp got its name and what the snow and ice-covered Blümlisalp is all about.
Alpenruhe – Lake Tschingel – Bärenpfad – Golderli – Pochtenalp – Wildwasserweg – Tschingel (2 hours, 30 min.)
Follow the brown Kientaler Sagenwege signposts from the Kiental, Restaurant Alpenruhe post bus stop in the direction of Lake Tschingel as well as the directions in your legends guidebook (see note). Catch the post bus at the Tschingel parking area back to Reichenbach.
