Häuserweg

The "Reichenbacher Häuserweg" leads you along the very special houses in Reichenbach and its sourroundings. It is marked with white signposts, starting at the train station reichenbach.

The traditional wooden houses are called "Frutigtyp". It is a special type of farmer houses, which combine the living and working parts under the same roof. It is a kind of blockhouse with two floors. Fronts are decorated with wooden carvings.
