wildwasserweg

Wildwasserweg (Wild Water Trail)

Experience the power of water in its rawest form.
This natural spectacle truly lives up to its name: The Wildwasserweg takes you past deep gorges, thunderous waterfalls, steep rock faces and the Hexenkessel (witches cauldron) and up to the Griesalp region.
The path has been arranged in levels so as to make the descent especially easy. You won’t find any information panels here  –  for, after all, it’s all about the raw power of water. And that will fully engage all your senses!

This amazing route through mystical surroundings is even more impressive when water volumes are high as is the case when the snow is melting (June-August) and after it has rained.

Hiking down the valley: Griesalp - Tschingel (35 min.) From the Griesalp and down through the Griess Gorge, the Hexenkessel and on to the Pochten Falls. Continue past Lake Tschingel and along the Gornerewasser to Kiental. (Total 3 hours)

Hiking up the valley: Tschingel post bus stop (» Timetable) to the Griesalp Kurhaus or Golderli: approx. 1 hour.
