The past will be resurrected in Kandersteg in January 2010. The Belle-Epoque era was at its height in the early 1900’s - for culture, business and society. Tourism also enjoyed a boom.
The first, simple inns were renovated to hotels, more and more people enjoyed travelling and many winter sports - which are still popular today - were established.
